This past summer, something shifted in me. Not a small tug, not a random idea—something deeper. It was the kind of nudge that doesn’t allow you to sleep comfortably until you answer it. Out of that nudge, Halo & Threads was born.
I’ve always been a creator. Before fabric and designs, there was music. Producing music for God has been the heartbeat of my walk with Him—beats, melodies, and lyrics that I hoped would reach people where sermons sometimes couldn’t. Music was my first language of worship, my way of saying “Lord, here’s my offering.” But as this year unfolded, God began stretching that offering into something new.
I started to see clothing the same way I see music: as a vessel. A message. A reminder. Not just cotton, colors, or trends—but identity. A way of saying who you belong to without having to open your mouth.
Halo & Threads isn’t glamorous or corporate. It didn’t start in a studio office or from a perfectly lined-up business plan. It began on my living room floor—sketches spread out, worship music playing in the background, and prayer after prayer whispered beneath my breath.
I’m the founder, creator, and designer—MxSha. Some people know me as a music producer, some know me simply as the one who won’t stop talking about Jesus. But what many don’t know is that I didn’t set out to make a brand. I set out to obey.
Every design carries a testimony. Every hoodie, shirt, or piece of apparel is rooted in scripture, moments of doubt, or encounters with God where I had to choose faith over fear. The name Halo & Threads isn’t random—halo represents the divine, the unseen protection, the glory of God; threads represent the earthly, the everyday pieces of life we wrap ourselves in. Together, they symbolically merge heaven and earth.
This brand reflects my own walk:
Music taught me obedience.
God taught me purpose.
Now Halo & Threads is teaching me trust.
Because stepping out with a Christian brand in today’s world? It isn’t easy. There are moments of second-guessing. “Will people understand?” “Will they support it?” “Am I ready?” But every time those questions rise, I remember that I wasn’t called to be understood—I was called to be faithful.
When you wear Halo & Threads, I want you to feel covered—not just physically, but spiritually. I want a hoodie to remind you of a verse God whispered to you in the dark. I want a shirt to spark a conversation with someone you didn’t expect. I want you to see yourself as set apart, not because of the brand, but because of the God who is writing your story.
Summer was the season of sowing. Planting seeds. Listening to God more than my fears. The brand launched from a place of worship, and that’s how it will continue. Halo & Threads is just beginning, but it’s not just mine. It belongs to every believer who wants to wear faith boldly, every creative who is searching for their calling, and every person who has ever wondered if God could use the little they have.
He can—and He will.
If my music is a prayer, then Halo & Threads is the echo of that prayer woven into fabric. And as long as God gives me the breath to create, I’ll keep designing pieces that point back to Him.
Welcome to the journey.
